How do we as leaders successfully create robust labor conditions for teachers and learning conditions for students?

In what ways can we attune ourselves to the needs of our organizations’ constituencies and our obligations to the world around us?

Put another way, how can we do good and do well?

These Questions…

…comprised the core of my thinking throughout my course of study at the University of Pennsylvania, where I completed coursework for an M.S.Ed. in School Leadership. During this 11-month executive master’s program, we explored the numerous contradictions that surround what it means to be a school leader in a time of deep polarization and calcification, numerous crises our children are facing or will face, and the dynamics at play between school leaders and their constituents (colleagues, families and caregivers, and others). In my own work as a leader and thinker, these questions have taken shape as the above. And I hope to seek the answers with you in our work together.
